I'm headed into the studio May, 2017 to record my second album for Cellar Live, featuring Jazz legend, Larry McKenna.
It’s been a busy few months preparing and ironing out all the details. I visited recording studios in Brooklyn and booked three of the top musicians in New York. Nine time Grammy Award winning engineer Tom Lazarus will be flying in from Italy to make the session. I’m narrowing down the song selections and putting together a schedule for recording day. It’s coming together!
With the recording date set for early May, I am asking for your help in meeting our fundraising goal. The good news is that we are 75 percent funded. A generous amount comes from the label, Cellar Live. Remaining expenses include musicians’ fees, travel expenses, and some of the post production work. I just need to get over this hump.
Where do you come in? I am looking for producers - those uniquely compassionate, supportive people that believe in the power of the arts to transform, heal, uplift our society. Those who believe the tradition of jazz deserves support and needs to be heard.
Producers will receive acknowledgment in the liner notes, company or name displayed in promotional materials, and advanced copies of completed album. I’m also more than willing to speak with you about other ideas or requests.
I'm beyond thrilled to be recording with one of my heroes. I know the music will be fantastic! I just need a little help in getting it out there.
Thanks so much for your consideration.
All the best,
